Cookies

How cookies work on this site, which ones we use, and how to accept or reject optional analytics.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences and understand how pages are used.

How we use cookies

Intelligent Cloud Services uses essential cookies so basic features (such as remembering your cookie choice) work, and optional analytics cookies only if you accept them via the banner.

Cookies we use

NamePurposeDurationProvider
ics_cookie_consentStores Accept or Reject choice for the consent banner1 year (localStorage)Intelligent Cloud Services
Session host cookieMaintains secure delivery of static pages via the hosting providerSessionHosting provider
_ga / _ga_* (if accepted)Measures aggregate visits and referrersUp to 2 yearsGoogle Analytics (optional)

Essential storage for consent uses localStorage under the brand-prefixed key ics_cookie_consent. Rejecting optional cookies does not block browsing, forms, or session information pages.

Managing cookies

Use Accept or Reject on the banner when it appears. You can clear site data in your browser settings at any time. Browser controls also let you block third-party cookies.

Third-party cookies

If you accept analytics, Google may set cookies subject to its own policies. We do not load optional analytics until consent is given.

Impact of disabling

Disabling essential storage may cause the consent banner to reappear. Disabling analytics simply means we collect fewer aggregate visit statistics. Site content and enquiry forms continue to work.
