About

How a Sydney practice room became a place for Fibonacci retracement discipline rather than another indicator tour.

Why we exist

Most traders meet Fibonacci retracements in a hurried video: draw from low to high, watch for a bounce, move on. The ratios are easy; choosing the right swing is not. Intelligent Cloud Services began as evening chart clinics on Clarence Street for people who wanted someone in the room to say “that anchor is wrong” before the next open.

How we work

Sessions are short on theory slides and long on drawing. Facilitators trade their own books outside class hours; inside the room their job is to slow your hand, force a spoken rationale for every Fib, and keep the group honest when a pullback has already failed. We stay with ASX equities, index futures, and major FX pairs because those are the charts our regulars actually open.

The people

Elena Voss leads the Fibonacci Retracement Intensive. She spent a decade as a proprietary desk analyst in Sydney before shifting to teaching full-time. Her insistence: no Fib without a named impulse leg.

James Okonkwo hosts group practice evenings. He keeps the pace brisk and the critique specific — which candle invalidated the 61.8% hold, and what you should have done instead.

Values that show up on the chart

  • Prefer fewer lines and clearer reasons over decorative overlays
  • Treat every session as rehearsal, not a tip sheet
  • Respect Australian market hours and the instruments people actually trade here
  • Admit uncertainty aloud when structure is ambiguous

Community

Graduates often return for drop-in evenings. The room stays small on purpose: eight seats for the Intensive, a dozen for practice nights. If you want a quiet place to argue with your own Fib levels, you will fit.
